Where do we start our journey? All cultures have stories told by the wise ones to give meaning, purpose and advice to help others on their life journey. Sadly, the images behind many of these stories have been lost.
So let us write our own story. In this story “Great Mystery”(1) is the source of existence. As in the ancient tradition just let the story wash over you to awaken the heart.
Let me just go back to before you came here. Just imagine for one moment that you are in the higher realms as part of Great Mystery and you make a choice to have an experience here on earth.Imagine that, so you make that choice. Your light softens and begins to fall away, you seem to become aware that others have also made this choice. But that is their story.
You decide you are going to experience a lifetime here on earth plane in a certain culture, in a certain environment, with certain parents. But you find you cannot fully diminish your light and you see that part of you will remain as the Watcher.(2)
You imagine taking a blank sheet of paper with you and then you become earth bound. So begins this journey with a blank sheet of paper, and as you grow you fill in the details by making choices and by being given opportunities. You have all sorts of influences as you grow up with your parents, your siblings, your friends until you reach adulthood.
By now this blank sheet of paper has become filled with a myriad of experiences and choices, thousands of them, millions of them. They are shaping your life here on earth.
At any point of this journey you may be given opportunities. There is no judgement, just opportunities for experience. That’s what maps out your journey here on that blank sheet of paper.
Of course it is no longer blank. So where are you now? You get to a point to see an awareness of who you are, and very few people here will do that. Perhaps you have chosen to do this, and found your way to this story.
There are many people of your planet who are on this path. Now these journeys that many take are so significant in the growth of your planet, of your universe.
That is just a story of course, but you may see where we are going. The Watcher is always part of that blank piece of paper the whole time. Great Mystery is part of your experience, and the story is simply to illustrate to you how the Watcher is part of you. It is you, but it is the part of you that is hidden while you begin your journey.
But gradually it will become clearer who you are and you will reconnect again as you realise your Oneness. PathLight Wisdom is just that— light for the path.
