(A 10 Minute Guided Meditation)
This meditation is for you and for your journey. We humans are very resilient, in spite of the unrest and confusion we may be experiencing. We have the ability to step back and rise above it if we choose. This meditation may help you pause for a moment, relax and be calm.

It’s hard not to be caught up in the unrest in our world at the moment. Our vision can become very clouded and judgemental. If we can manage to step back, rise above it and see the big picture, we just may be able to tend to our own story rather than trying to solve the world’s problems. Taking time to go within and seek that unseen wisdom of our true Self, can bring us clarity and detachment.
A short meditation
No matter how busy you are, you will always benefit by taking a short break into a quiet place. Many studies in mindfulness and meditation have shown that even a short practice can help you to return to your task with fresh eyes and a clear mind. To do this on a regular basis, can result in a pathway of healing and replenishment. Sometimes the path ahead of us is confusing and even uncertain. Our stress levels create obstacles that obscure our vision. To be on a spiritual journey can bring back the clarity that we seek. If we let go and trust that we are guided on our pathway, then each step will take us towards the clarity and energy we seek
. Although we may not be aware of it, we are constantly immersed in an unseen energy field, a field of love, joy, and peace.
This meditation may help you with your awareness, as you are led through a short visualisation which brings you into that energy. Using your breath, let go and relax into a deep feeling of love and peace There are times when we feel unsure of what choices to make, which direction to take that would serve us best.
In moments of quietness, even sometimes in our ‘self talk’, guidance will come to us. It is always a suggestion, never an instruction. That quiet awareness always respects that every choice is ours to make. It is often difficult to trust that ‘little voice’, or even the unseen energy that is guiding us. Perhaps it is time to breathe deeply, let go, and let the answers come. Listen to your heart. In these troublesome times it is important to deepen our trust in each other. We must strengthen our connectivity and look to the future in hope. To trust gives us a firm belief in hope. To make this work we have to step back, not in anxiety and worry, but to make a practice of being quiet, and open to the inner reserves that we all have, which are often neglected in many traditions. Sometimes we seek comfort from the stress of our daily life, to reassure us that all is well in a world full of confusion. This can be in a physical form, but more importantly within the quietness of our own self. Even then we are not easily able to settle. This guided meditation is offered as a means to detach a little and move towards that inner guidance for clarity, strength and hope. Find comfort in the quietness.
Often, you may wonder if your small contribution to humanity is making a difference. Yet every kind word, loving gesture, or joyful attitude, is of great significance. Small changes within ourselves can bring about a completely new attitude to the world around us.
