It has been said that kindness is love in action – it is certainly a very powerful energy.
In its highest form, an act of kindness can be offered with no strings attached, but always remember, that what you give to others you give to yourself. Therefore, the most essential and important thing is being kind to yourself. Let that kindness be your foundation

We come from the Light.
We return to the Light. We ARE the Light Our light is the way for the Universe to know itself. So let us live that light. Open the door to your heart and let the light shine through! Shine! What would it be like to just stop, truly let go and accept what is? What if you could consciously surrender and be content in the moment?
Surrendering does not mean giving up or sacrificing. It means unveiling or revealing your true self that is under all the trappings and distractions, moving behind the shapes that you have accumulated. Underneath all these shapes there lies a truly beautiful being that is waiting to emerge and to be free like a butterfly. Meditation is not something we analyse or that comes from the intellect. It's from the heart centre. Those moments of stirring within our heart. That is what we seek and what all humanity seeks. So we do need to create an opportunity to create a space. A space of quietness, of stillness and joy.
I have a difficult question to ask. Are we enjoying our life?
We get all this life, and yet we don't use it! We are driven by external influences all the time, so all the important things are overlooked, including our happiness. Take time to let go and find that deep contentment, which can only come from within. Although we are in a very complicated and confusing stage of life, we are evolving, we are changing. It's very good to be part of that change, and so we come to the theme of this meditation, learning to surrender and trust.
We learn to surrender our five senses, finding that stillness, that quiet place. This is a process of connecting, moving towards our full potential, realising that that inner person, that inner presence, that inner energy is there for us. If we choose to move towards that connection, the process is through surrender, through letting go in trust. Finding our personal freedom can be challenging. With all the many disturbances in our world, we are drawn into our five senses, which engulf us in anxiety and self-preservation, bordering on fear.
To maintain our personal inner freedom, we must step back and see the big picture, see what really is important. This meditation may help us realise that at our core centre, there is peace and harmony and freedom of choice. With so many disturbances in our world at the moment, we can easily find ourselves being pushed out of balance and harmony, not just with others, but within ourselves. This short meditation may be helpful to let go for a few moments, to re-align and re-establish that stability and harmony within.
This is a time to be quiet, finding that place behind our thoughts, where there is a welcoming, loving wholeness, where we can renew and where we can gain clarity and strength. Find that place of calm within.
Be comfortable. Follow the breathing. Let the words of the meditation take you to that place of loving kindness, it is there for you, and always has been. Our place of peace is in the stillness. The process of meditation does give us an opportunity to find that quiet place behind our thoughts where we can renew, where we can connect to our hidden resources. Each breath we take is drawing in new energy and each out-breath is a release. It is also the rhythm of our regeneration and the flow of our connectivity with all things. That is a great mystery, but it is who we are.
