Flowing Freely

Our life can be a stream, a river. We may be hanging onto the reeds as the river passes us by, but more likely we can be stuck in the mud. It is important we become aware of where we are. There will be situations where we are just not able to let go, and that is quite understandable. But quite often we are stuck because we have become very rigid in our outlook. This can make us very vulnerable to change, and humanity is changing very rapidly.
​As we begin to observe the flow of the river, and become aware of the shifting currents, we can work to trusting the current and go where the river takes us.
Quiet time is essential. In the quietness our deep inner wisdom can guide us, place opportunities for us to consider, close doors that did not serve us and open doors that do. Meditation-mindfulness is an accepted practice to step back and gain a clear vision. From the deepening awareness, care of self and the feel of confidence gain a clarity and in time a trust to go with the flow.
