Angels

I have presented this experience as a humourous Story. It was very revealing of that child’s emerging consciousness. Perhaps we do need to ‘soften’ our adult shape. As we are finding out in this group the boundaries of consciousness have no end!

Once upon a time angels were very busy rushing to and fro answering cries for assistance and bringing love from ‘Great Spirit’ to those in need. It was a very busy time. 
One day I suggested to a young child that angels did not need wings because they were ‘spiritual’ beings.
The little hand went up with a cry, “ But – They do! They do have wings”
Rapidly getting off my high horse I replied, ‘Oh?”
She replied in a gentle loving voice, “ When I am sad or worried I feel my angel come to me and wrap her wings around me. I feel safe. It makes me happy and I don’t worry any more”.

Perhaps we can manage on our own but there is no shame in extending our boundaries and asking for help or guidance. We are not as alone as we think. We have many friends who have been here and we also have what some folk call ‘angels’.
So why not ask the angels, the unseen energies for guidance, or perhaps work in partnership with ‘them’. We definitely do not want bored angels getting up to mischief!
