It began with a thought
And the thought was energy
And the energy was creation
And the energy was creation
As we seek our self discovery we are very aware that thought precedes word, - well in most people. Thought is energy, it creates. This is something we do not consider in any depth mainly because the result is not usually instantaneous. Fortunately there is an inbuilt modifier that averages out these thoughts we have. This underlying control is our primary thought. Its purpose is to govern the outcomes. It subsists in our subconscious mind so it is not easily changed. Just think of the damage it would do if every thought happened! We underestimate the power of our thought.
Our thoughts create our reality. The great purpose in life is to be able to shift our direction by changing our thoughts.
'And where do we go from here'. It begs the question of our thoughts creating our reality. If this is so, how much influence do we have in creating the world around us. And how much influence do we have in bringing positive, happy, joyful thoughts into the community that we inhabit so it can create a better place to live.
It falls back on the choice we make for ourselves.
In other words to change the way we think, we change the world.

We have forgotten who we are, but all is not lost. We can begin a self discovery journey which could be quite exciting.
It is impossible for us to fully understand the purpose of the choices we made before entering separation. Also because others also make their pre-separation choices there are bumps and distractions along the way. Then there are the many variations that make us all so different. No physical body is perfect. No parent is perfect. No culture or up-bringing is perfect. Somehow in all this is the purpose we have chosen. A bit of a challenge but the good news is we have freedom of choice!
By now our blank sheet of paper is very full. It is shaping our attitudes and definitely the way we see ourselves and the world around. To stop ourselves from falling to bits, the myriad thoughts and ideas that pass through our mind keep our story consistent. Think about what life might be like if we never knew from moment to moment who we were!
So let's sort out this myriad of thoughts. We are only aware of some of them. We have an in-built filter that allows thoughts that support our story to come into our conscious mind. These are then arranged into a story of our identity which is built up from the many experiences that we have. So our blank sheet of paper is filling up and creating the way we stand in life - our attitude.
